ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders) is a division of the
Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME)
and brings together a professional highly skilled and dedicated group
of Transmission Repairers in Australia and New Zealand.

Originally founded in 1982 the core objective of the group is to assist the
ATRA member and through them the automatic transmission industry
to stay abreast of technical information and trends.

Members are kept informed of the constant changes
in the transmission industry, with articles and information
sourced both locally and from overseas and circulated via
the ATRA / Newsletter and Website.

A major Transmission Seminar is held Annually
along with local activities and technical events.
